Job Description

This position is depends on grand approval  by IMC Roster

SCOPE OF WORK:

 

The X-Ray Technician works at the hospitals to predominantly deliver X-Ray services to patients. She/he assumes responsibility and accountability for their practice, applying up to date knowledge and skills in caring for each patient and family. He/she works as a member of a team that includes all hospital staff.

 

 

 

KEY RESPOSIBILITIES:

 

  1. Counsel and educate patients, the family, and community, in relevant areas of health.
  2. Obtain specialized assistance as necessary (consultation or referral).
  3. Share knowledge, skill, and expertise with medical, midwifery and nursing students.
  4. Follow established departmental policies, procedures and objectives; continuous quality improvement initiative; safety, environmental, and infection prevention standards.
  5. Participate in provision of 24-hour, six-day maternity service, which may require evening, night.
  6. Identify and report immediately any problem which interferes in the delivery of services or in achieving the program objectives to his/her immediate supervisor.
  7. Participate in weekly meeting of health facility to share information and discuss the program progress.

 

Safeguarding policy for Staff:

 

  • Respect and follow International Medical Corps Safeguarding policy and never neglect, abuse, harm and exploit children, young people, and adult at risk,
  • Report any actual or suspicious harm to the children and vulnerable adult caused by staff and program.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

    • Graduated from a recognized medical faculty/institute.
    • Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
    • Will be responsible to provide required report in timely manners.
    • Good coordination, networking, inter-personal and relationship building skills.
    • Attitudes and aptitude aligned with the positions are essential.
    • Good communication and liaison skills with community and hospital staff.
    • Written and spoken English is a plus.
    • Flexibility is requested regarding the working hours.
