About Razi Social Development Organization (RSDO)

• Introduction to RSDO

Razi Social Development Organization- RSDO is an Afghan NGO founded on April 11, 2008, and registered with the Ministry of Economy in Afghanistan. It was established in Herat city but then set up sub-offices in Ghor and Daykundi provinces by delivering social development services to vulnerable and marginalized people in remote communities.

• RSDO’s Background

RSDO firstly initiated the primary activities in 2002 under the name of “Abu Hanifeh Orphan High School”, assisting orphan children who lost their parents and families during the long-lasting war in Afghanistan to learn and build their future. Later on, with the financial support of the Japan Embassy, it has constructed a high school building for orphans and expanded the activities of orphans with the support of HELP Germany as well. Throughout years of hard work, RSDO slowly developed and now has functioning offices in all west zone provinces of Afghanistan with more than 200 staff.

• RSDO’s mandate

RSDO’s mandate is delivering humanitarian assistance to vulnerable households in the west zone provinces of Afghanistan through the financial support of the UN and International Organizations.

RSDO's Mission

RSDO dedicated all efforts to contribute in none violent, developed, and prosperous Afghanistan where both men and women live and respect each other through running services in the sector of women empowerment, education, agriculture, capacity building, and livelihood.

RSDO's Vision:

RSDO’s vision is an Afghanistan without illiteracy. We envision that that all Afghan children (girls and boys have easy access to high-quality education that affect their lives and provide the means of development

Job Description

The vocational trainer/s will represent RSDO in Lal Wa Sargengal district of Ghor province and Qades District of Badghis province in terms of communication and coordination with the beneficiaries and preparing and teaching skills of the vocations to the beneficiaries. S/He will be fully responsible for managing Vocational Classes and activities in Lal Wa Sargengal district of Ghor province and Qades District of Badghis province.

(Part Time Vocational Trainer (Motorbike Repairing)

Districts: Lal Wa Sargengal district of Ghor province and Qades District of Badghis province

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Teaches vocational training subjects to students through TVET project in Lal wa Sargengal district of Ghor province and Qades District of Badghis province:
2. The vocational trainer organizes a program of practical and technical instruction, including demonstrations of skills required in daily life skills development.
3. Instructs students in subject areas, such as Motorbike Repairing
4. Use and maintenance of tools and equipment related to skill development and vocational training.
5. Plans and supervises work of students, individually or in small groups during the course implementation.
6. Tests and evaluates achievement of students in technical knowledge and vocational skills.
7. May place students on job training.
8. May teach students with disabilities.
9. Assist the Trainer Supervisor in design and development of vocational training curriculum, training session plan, training handouts, training evaluation materials and etc.
10. Preparing monthly training plans for vocational classes on a provincial basis
11. Taking photos and video clips while delivering vocation training to the beneficiaries
12. Observe and evaluate the classes to determine progress and make suggestions for improvements.
13. Preparing and submitting the monthly reports to Trainer Supervisor relating to vocational training classes.
14. Perform any other tasks as required.
