CP Group is a national organization established in 2016 with expertise in project management, organizational development, training, capacity building, survey, and research.  Support humanitarian and development interventions such as water, sanitation, access to road, education, and community infrastructure, strengthen livelihoods and business development initiatives, and access to market and supply chain.

Job Description

The Training Material Developer/Subject Matter Expert develops curriculum and learning material both for the teacher and students to meet the competence development needs identified during assessment.

  • Develop course curriculum and learn materials for ToT training course and student manuals;
  • Lead in revising and finalizing existing training manuals for project staff and (direct beneficiaries) communities on marketing, sales, business development, and product development.
  • Development of training material for counterparts based on training needs as identified in training needs assessment;
  • Support the finalization/ translation of training documents in two languages (Dari and Pashto);
  • Conduct periodic field visits to assist in the delivery of the training modules and ensure the overall effectiveness of the training;
  • Keep abreast of new educational techniques and activities and assist in testing to increase the efficacy of training;
  • Develop a “catalog” of high-quality training material that could be easily tailored to the needs of the clients and the audience;
  • Maintain training calendars and assist in developing training plans; 
  • Carry out any other assignments as requested by the supervisor;
 

Job Requirements

Essential Skills, Experience, and Competencies

Education/ training

The position holder must possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in business administration, especially in the field of training or other relevant areas, as well as extensive professional experience.

Work Experience

  • Minimum of five years of proven experience in developing and delivering training modules and material
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Education or related fields
  • Experience in working with Government, CSOs and UN.
  • Oral and written proficiency in English, Dari, and Pashto
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to think and lead strategically, plan effectively, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Displayed ability in preparing well-organized, coherent reports, templates, and other training documents.
  • A consistent and proven track record as an exceptional team player and leader.
