About Society Empowerment Organization (SEO)

SEO is a local NGO founded in 2008 to assist in humanitarian aid, education, returnees, internally Displaced People (IDPs), economic development, demand-driven vocational training, apprenticeship, income generation projects, and legal assistance. SEO's current projects in Afghanistan include Emergency Response, Food Assistance Distribution, Education, Legal Assistance, and Economic Growth for marginalized populations, Returnees, Internally Displaced Persons, and vulnerable families.

Job Description

Overview: The Training and Development Coordinator will design, implement, and evaluate training programs aimed at equipping Afghan women with the skills necessary for home-based, remote, and creative employment.

Key Responsibilities:

Training Program Design:
- Identify training needs and develop tailored training modules covering digital literacy, professional skills, technical skills, and entrepreneurship.
- Ensure training content is culturally relevant and accessible to Afghan women.
Training Delivery:
- Coordinate and conduct training sessions, workshops, and webinars.
- Engage experienced instructors and guest speakers to enhance training quality.
Evaluation and Feedback:
- Develop assessment tools to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
- Collect feedback from participants and adjust training programs as needed.
Resource Development:
- Create training materials, guides, and toolkits.
- Maintain an online repository of training resources for participants’ ongoing use.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resource Development, or related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in training and development, preferably in a similar context.
Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
Ability to develop engaging and effective training materials.
Proficiency in Dari/Pashto, and English.
