Job Description

  • Provide training sessions focused on effective classroom management techniques. Support CBE teachers in creating positive learning environments through practical strategies.
  • Offer specialized training for teachers working with students with diverse needs. Share best practices and resources for inclusive teaching strategies.
  • Guide teachers in developing effective assessment strategies. Provide training on evaluating student progress and using data to inform instruction.
  • Organize and lead professional development sessions for CBE teachers. Foster a culture of continuous learning and growth among teaching staff.
  • Train CBE teachers in effective instruction methods. Share innovative approaches to reading and writing to improve student literacy outcomes.
  • Provide training for teachers on best practices in language acquisition. Support educators in teaching multilingual classrooms effectively.
  • Mentor and train aspiring teacher leaders. Facilitate workshops on leadership skills, fostering collaboration and innovation within schools.

Any other task assigned by the management.

 

Job Requirements

  • At least 5 years experience in education, preferably in an NGO environment or educational setting
  • Bachelor’s degree in education, development, or another social science
  • An understanding of formal and non-formal education
  • Understanding of government institutions, particularly the public school and CBE Policy
  • Excellent planning and coordination skills, with the ability to organize a substantial workload comprised of complex, diverse tasks and responsibilities; Understanding of child rights programming.
  • Good communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English, Pashto, and Dari
  • Ability to analyze information, evaluate options, and plan strategically
  • Ability and willingness to change work practices and hours, and work with incoming teams in the event of major emergencies.
