Job Description

Purpose of the Job:

The propose of this position is to communicate with local community in the field of camp management, collection of information, coordination and cooperation with community, creating committees and capacity building of communities for a sustainable solution.

Generic Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence with NRC policies, tools, handbooks and guidelines
• Prepare and develop status reports as required by management
• Prepare and share ideas for improvement of daily activities
• Implement delegate Camp Management and Community Outreach project portfolio according to plan of action
• Using existing methods in order to help IDPs community.
• Support capacity building activities and information campaigns
• Deliver information and notifications provided by NRC to community members and local community
• Preparing and registering community problem and changes
• Preparing community tent for visit of internal and external staff
• Ensure proper filing of documents upon the request of NRC

Specific Responsibilities

• Communication with local community
• Using different methodology and documents about IDPs rights, returnees, and current facilities in the site to make sure easy access to facilities and health services
• Visit with local community
• Release information on complaints and accountability mechanisms
• Facilitate access of other core competencies to community committees
• Gather information about Obstacles and limitation of IDPs to access the facilities

Generic professional competencies:

• Humanitarian work experience
• Documented results related to task-related responsibilities
• Knowledge of English and Pashto language
• Must be honest, well-mannered and neat in appearance.

Skills Required

• English Fluency
• Flexible and can work under pressure.
• computer skills
