Job Description

Under the supervision of the project manager, Storekeeper plays a crucial role in managing the inventory and maintaining the organization of goods within a store or warehouse. They are responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing goods with good record of stock out and stock in while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks related to inventory management.

The Duties and responsibilities may include but not limited to: 

  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels through regular counts and reconciliations.
  • Monitor inventory levels to avoid stockouts or overstock situations.
  • Organize and maintain the layout of the store or warehouse to facilitate easy access to goods.
  • Ensure that storage areas are clean, well-organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
  • Implement effective space utilization techniques to maximize storage capacity.
  • Process outgoing dispatch accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with other departments to fulfill internal or external orders according to priority.
  • Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and other relevant metrics.
  • Keep detailed records of all incoming and outgoing items, including tracking information.
  • Provide regular updates to management regarding inventory status and any issues that may arise.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to inventory management and safety.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements governing the handling and storage of specific types of merchandise.
  • Identify and address any potential safety hazards in the workplace.
  • To follow and implement the procedures of Stock Management
  • To check the quantity, weight and quality of the items received.
  • To ensure to get copies of the bill, quotation, delivery note and purchase request from HI Log Dept. of each received items/ purchase and service request. 
  • To maintain a well-organized store with the materials stored in an orderly and clean way to ensure easy access.
  • To maintain well organized records of IN and OUT of materials, their origin and destination in stock cards as scheduled
  • To ensure/supply EMT departments upon their requests on weekly basis or when required.
  • To do stock and tools/equipment inventories as per schedule.
  • To provide soft and hard copy of inventory report by the end of each quarter to EMT Project Manager
  • To prepare a monthly report of incoming, outgoing and available stock items
  • To ensure well protection of the store items and report to EMT Project Manager immediately if something is missing.
  • To fix the codes of items related to his work area that need to be repaired or need new codes timely.
  • Inform EMT Project manager about items that need to be repaired or maintained.
  • To develop work plan on daily/weekly basis and provide a copy to EMT Project manager.
  • To respect HI security rules
  • To participate in weekly or monthly meetings.
  • Keep a good relationship with the team

Job Requirements

  • University graduate
  • Minimum 3-years’ experience in warehouse management
  • Have sufficient knowledge of computer and English language.
  • Good reporting knowledge. 
  • Diploma in computer and language skill
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work within a multicultural team.
