Job Purpose
The Social Workers will work under the supervision of Case management Officer and will report to him/Her. The Social Workers will provide daily case management support to children affected by displacement and conflict at the districts’ levels in the targeted Provinces. The Social Workers are responsible for ensuring the cases are managed in accordance with the established process and ensuring that decisions taken are in the best interests of the child. Social Workers are also responsible for mobilizing communities and establishing Community Based Child Protection Committee (CBCPC) in the project sites. S/he will be responsible for capacity building of the committees, ensure their active participation in child protection activities and monitor their engagement with children and community members to create a protective environment for children. These are community-based positions and therefore, priority is given to the local community-based candidates, especially couples who are from the respective districts applying.
