The Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is a private, independent non-governmental organization working with refugees, asylum seekers and other migrants. As part of livelihood program interventions, DRC provides business development trainings to targeted male and female beneficiaries, who will be targeted under Micro Enterprises (ME) project funded by varies donors. The project is design to support individuals who have experience of business, have business with limited resources (existences), motivated to establish new business. The project aims to establish businesses around the communities to create income generation, communities need improvement, women participation among the communities and generating employment opportunities which will effect on the human impact as well. In addition, business development trainings to the beneficiaries in order to manage properly their business, beneficiaries will also be provided with technical support (in kind or cash).
As part of its livelihood program interventions, DRC provides business development trainings to targeted female and male beneficiaries of MEs, under its micro enterprises (ME) project funded by varies donors. The program is design to support individuals who have experience of business, run a business with limited resources (existences), or are motivated to establish a new business. The business development training also targets qualified trainees of the vocational training project, apprenticeship, and work placement activities. Since DRC has experienced employees in all its offices at Afghanistan and they are well trained in the business activities of MEs in the last three years. One of the LH officers from LH team will undertake the training of the beneficiaries.

As per DRC livelihoods staff’s ToRs, including the following;
Recruit and supervise the work of the Business Development Training Trainer to ensure He/ She is performing His/ Her role appropriately.
Provide a full session orientation on the designed training manual from the experts.
Visit the business development training sites at least daily and liaise with the trainer to identify any problems and address these in a timely manner.
Support the trainees to identify and resolve issues to facilitate successful outcomes for trainees
Verify trainee attendance sheets, weekly training plans and other materials
The Business Development Trainer reports against the above-mentioned activities on a weekly basis to DRC Senior Livelihoods Officer or assigned DRC LH staff.
