Develops the Agricultural Development Fund’s Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Reports.
Develops the ADF Monthly Snapshot that reflects major activities accomplished.
Collects monthly activity inputs from the ADF regional offices as well as various departments for inclusion into the above stated reports.
Plays an essential role in tracking and updating M&E database as well as ensuring the data provided to stockholders is accurate and of the best quality possible.
Coordinates with the ADF financial intermediaries and clients through Business Development team to capture new farmer beneficiaries for recording them into the ADF M&E Database for reporting purpose.
Collaborates with the ADF Management team to set program targets and key indicators.
Oversees impact narrative for external communications including donors, government, and partners.
Oversees and coordinates baseline and impact surveys when needed.
Maintains and updates indicators database for ADF M&E system.
Conducts agribusiness quarterly impact survey to collect data for all ADF reports.
Keeps all data collection tools updated, builds capacities and develops systems to enable program to translate M&E data into useful information for making well-informed decisions, and ensure key M&E outcomes and findings are communicated widely to promote program staff learning.
Identify proper measures to ensure quality control on data collection and integration process.
Ensures accurate qualitative and quantitative reports on a timely manner and responds to requirements.
Updates the MAIL’s database of projects on monthly/quarterly basis.
Performs any other related and relevant tasks assigned by the CEO.
Extends extensive support to other ADF Departments/Units with respect to streamlining and strengthening of existing policies, procedures, and plans;
Plays major role as an active member of the Editorial Board of the ADF Parmakhtak Magazine to review and edit articles;
Provides support to the ADF cross-functional teams in organizing major events such as ag-fair, ag-Shuras, etc.;
Provides support to the ADF lending program to all cooperatives and other clients.
The Monitoring and Evaluation Senior Officer will provide support to CEO mainly through reviewing M&E documents, developing data collection mechanisms, participating in mid-term and final evaluations. Provide Support for data management and reporting for best efficiency and effectiveness.
Job Requirements
At least five years of experience and evidence working in Monitoring and Evaluation, quantitative research or other related high-level supervisory experience.
Fluent English, excellent Pashto and Dari.
Strong report writing skills.
Experience working with data collection and analysis and MS ACCESS database.
Excellent interpersonal skills which enables team working and ability to meet deadlines.
Able to provide high quality and reliable data and demonstrate professional integrity.
Problem solving and analytical thinking.
A University degree in relevant field.
Ability to travel to different regions of Afghanistan in order to conduct monitoring of the program’s clients and collect data.
