Job Purpose
The Security & Assess Coordinator will ensure that safety and security assessments are undertaken, give advice and guidance to the management team on the implementation of safety and security management best practices. He/she will update the safety and security management plan on an annual basis and make sure that tools to monitor progress of recommendations and their implementation are in place and that the response is compliant with War Child UK safety and security policy and standards. The Security & Access Coordinator will seek to build the capacity of the Safety and Security & Assistants. The position will be based in Herat and the incumbent will report directly to the CD.
