Submit technical reports in accordance with the work plan and established deadlines, while ensuring that all activities are conducted and reported through accurate and verifiable reporting system from field level.
• Support Safeguarding depart to conduct and keeps updated risk assessment to identify risks to program participant safety and protection in BRAC program.
• Monitor central and field level activities and assess whether Safeguarding measures are in place in accordance with the established policies and plans. Document factors around the gaps or failures and the necessary achievements
• Work with and follow-up with stakeholders to ensure that identified risks and gaps are addressed in a timely and appropriate manner.
• Coordinate with Safeguarding focal person at field level to address and report concerns regarding failure to mitigate and safeguarding issue.
• Maintain and update complaint register and database on daily and weekly basses.
• Support in establishing and strengthening survivor referral systems in BRAC program
• Make sure the reporting mechanisms are used and known by all
• Ensure consented informed referral to program participants having suffered abuses
• Ensure that confidentiality and the security of all are maintained in case of incidents
• Advocacy with stakeholders to enforce safeguarding during and after incidents
• Support the training, capacity building and mentoring of field staff and awareness rising of non-staff (contractors and incentive labour) on minimum protection standards.
• Coach and support protection staff and Focal Points in schools, community, and other stakeholders to improve Safeguarding practice and responsiveness
• Support Manager in the conduct of coordination meetings with partner office, staff and field team.
• Assist and support safeguarding manager for organizing training and capacity activities for field level and Kabul level staff.MHT-12 Team
At least 3 years’ experience in coordination and human capital, experience of working in complex context like Afghanistan.
• 3 years of experience on addressing diversity and inequality issues within the workplace and programming.
• Understanding of the scope of safeguarding.
• Good communication and coordination skill
• Ability to take necessary action/work under pressure.
• Ability to work in multi-cultural team.
• Bachelor degree from any reputed University.
