Support to Human Resources Department:
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of INTERSOS policies and Afghan Labor Law.
Contribute to the development of HR team objectives and plans.
Attend HR team meetings and relevant external meetings as necessary.
Staff Administration:
Ensure accurate and timely administration of employee files, including archiving.
Prepare contracts and amendments, monitor leave balances, and maintain staff contact lists and organograms.
Update the IMP HQ database for monthly HR statistics.
Compensation & Benefits:
Prepare monthly HR Payroll Matrix and staff pay-slips in coordination with HR Assistants.
Ensure timely distribution of pay-slips and maintain accurate payroll records.
Recruitment and Onboarding:
Manage recruitment documentation and track vacancies.
Coordinate interviews and tests, conduct resume screening, and facilitate reference checks.
Support onboarding processes and maintain applicant databases.
Training and Development:
Facilitate annual staff evaluations and internal guideline presentations.
Organize training sessions on INTERSOS Policies and Guidelines and maintain training records.
Exit Processes:
Conduct effective exit interviews and provide management with analysis and recommendations.
Issue certificates of end of services for departing employees.
General:
Undertake any other tasks necessary for the smooth functioning of the HR department.
Uphold employee interests and INTERSOS values in alignment with internal policies and Afghan Labor Law
Education and Professional Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably with HR certification/diploma.
Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience with INGO/NGO.
Qualifications, Skills, and Traits:
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and strong computer literacy.
Fluency in spoken and written English and Pashto/Dari.
Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail.
Ethical decision-making and commitment to transparency.
Ability to work independently, handle stress, and prioritize tasks.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and a team player.
Flexibility, confidentiality, and maturity.
