Job Description:

  • According to company development policies and oilfield management code, exert expertise and professional management experience, and participate in all related field development practice and reservoir engineering study activities.
  • Take part in Field Development Plan preparation, then submit to management, partners, and government for approval. Follow up and supervise the Field Development Plan implementation, ensure periodic updating of FDP as requested or changed condition. Based on the latest FDP, reservoir development assessment and development strategy compile an annual work program.
  • Carry out wells/reservoirs performance dynamic evaluation, propose reasonable production rate target, and identify the current challenges and risks, e.g. production fluctuation, reservoir pressure falling, and water cut rising, by which update the reservoir development strategy and plan accordingly.
  • In due time implement appropriate reservoir engineering analysis and reservoir performance-related studies, and ensure that wells/reservoirs are being developed and managed in optimum manner by interdisciplinary teams cooperating.
  • Prepare new wells deployment, production profile (including production, pressure, water cut, etc.), water injection profile and related plan, water source supply profile and related plan, artificial lifting plan, surveillance plan, workover plan, etc.
  • Oversight and participation in the analysis of core and fluid to meet reservoir development requirements, by which optimize reservoir models and reserve estimation.
  • Undertake field mid-long-term planning, optimize field development and production levels, and maximize oil recovery based on detailed technical evaluation and justification.
  • Provide formal data, interpretation, reports, and presentations for management level, partners, and government representatives upon request.

Job Requirements

  • Reservoir engineers are involved in most oil and gas production stages. This includes field evaluation and exploration through to designing and implementing extraction equipment and processes.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in construction management within an Oil and Gas environment for construction.
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field. (Oilfield) 
  • designing wells, pipe networks, and surface facilities required for production
  • using specialist technology and surveillance data to monitor the quantity and flow of oil and gas being extracted
  • proposing improvements to maximize production, such as flow rate enhancement
  • overseeing the progress and work of the good operations and liaising with the drilling team
  • ensuring that all design and operations meet health, safety, and environmental regulations
