Organization for Research & Community Development (ORCD) is a Non-governmental, Non-political, Non-profitable and independent organization founded in 2010 by a group of community development and research specialist. The aim of the organization is to contribute to the development of Afghanistan as an integral part of the international community. It envisages accomplishing its aims by building local capacities, generating evidence in various disciplines, promoting evidence-based on best practices and implementing development projects aimed at community development at the grass root level. ORCD is a multi-donor funded NGO, implementing health, agriculture and community development projects in several provinces of the country.
ORCD would like to implement Mobile Health and Nutrition Services (MHNT) Logar province funded by (UNICEF) for which it would like to seek qualified people.
The reporting assistant will be required to prepare a weekly plan of their activities that will clearly lay out what he/she wishes to implement in the following week. This plan will be submitted to Program on the last day of every week.
Discuss with the Program analyst, and the ORCD Senior Management to have the best understanding of ORCD report requirements.
Have interactions with relevant project managers as well as partners to gain additional input regarding relevant report formats.
To collect data, statistics, and information requested by ORCD program.
Prepare first draft of reports i.e., inception reports, project progress reports and project completion reports and submit to program for further process and finalization;
Prepare first draft of project relevant case-studies supported by HD quality photos and submit to program for further process and finalization.
Take and compile pre, during and post project HD quality photos of each project and have them upload to OneDrive or other Microsoft online data keeping platforms in a sound stage-wise manner.
Prepare and maintain a sound offline data filling of system for all assigned projects enabling easy access to data for program.
Attend at all inter-agency meetings arranged by the organization or ad hock meeting requested by the program.
Ensure that all activities are reported according to the activity plan and in lined with the project objectives.
Ensure timely and appropriate reporting on project activities to Project Manager
Patience, commitment and an ability to work in difficult circumstances
Excellent Report writing and communication skills
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
Good reporting skills including report compilation, analysis, and presentation extremely organized.
Conducting any other activity assigned by program manager.
Bachelor in English literature, journalism, or any other relevant qualification.
3-4 years' relevant job experience, NGO experience will be given preference
Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information.
Ability to effectively communicate accounting information, policies, and /or procedures in a manner easily understood by the inter-agency personnel and client.
Ability of travel to provinces for data collection and photo coverage of projects
