Watan's Social and Technical services Association «WSTA» is a humanitarian organization, established in 1992 for the purpose of assisting vulnerable Afghan returnees and IDPs, This organization has been registered with ministry of Economy and has the permission to work in all over the country. As well as WSTA has membership of ANCB, ACBAR and based on code No. WON and registration No. OPS-CR-0535, with estimable UNOPS office.
We have added a dedicated position for our AHF projects to control the quality of services and goods we deliver under our shelter, food, protection and other projects. Under this project, we also have an in-kind modality of response which is why we are charging 20% of his/her salary on this project. Quality control is a continuous process which ensures that we achieve the expected impact of our work on lives of our persons of concern. He/She will be based in our Kabul main office, and will have frequent travel to our regional and field offices. Only salary is considered with no other allowances.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The following is a list of the major responsibilities of the QC Manager:
Ensure all work meets or exceeds the contract specifications and standard of excellence of the Donor & WSTA.
Supervises inspections, reports and the documentation issued by inspectors and collect and file the required Quality Records.
Supervises the Quality Control functions/activities of a project or its parts, including Quality Control inspection schedules and the collection of Quality Records.
Ensure all materials meet or exceed the contract specifications.
Coordinate and schedule field testing and performance QC inspections.
Review all special inspection and material testing perform by third parties.
Manage and document all inspection, approvals and testing in QC reports.
Acts as a subject matter expert regarding QC activities.
Interacts closely with internal teams to ensure that project needs and objectives are met.
Prepares QC-related scope documents, exhibits, budgets, specifications & schedules.
Leads or participates in project meetings and conference calls with Donor and partners.
University graduate preferably in management public administration social work community development subjects.
