Job Description

The overall scope of work for psychosocial consular is providing counselling services, to patients and affected individuals by emigration;
Providing emotional and psychosocial support counselling to returnees who may experience additional stressors while returning to the country;
Conduct individual and group counselling sessions to address emotional, psychological, and social issues.
Document assessments, interventions, and progress in confidential records.
Collaborate with other service providers, including health, education, and protection services, to ensure comprehensive support for beneficiaries.
Establishes and maintains good working relations with IOM staff in zero-point clinic

Maintain accurate records and prepare regular reports for management and donors

Job Requirements

A diploma in psychosocial counselling or Bachelor’s degree in Counselling or Psychology;
At least one-year experience in the provision of psychosocial counselling services;
Fluency in written and spoken local languages;

Knowledge of local environment

Skills Required
