Scope of work:
Under the Provincial Officer Lead establishment and running of Psychosocial Counselling Centre (PSCC) in Regional/ Provincial, the PSCC IN- charge is responsible to undertake the overall responsibility of Psychosocial Counselling Centre, the efficient and effective (objective and target oriented) implementation of project and insure the routine activities are on track.

Professionalism: Has the knowledge and understanding of project implementation strategies and approaches and project monitoring systems. Ability to think critically, work under pressure, meet commitments/deadlines, and show persistence in facing challenges.
Communication: Speaks and writes clearly and effectively. Listens to others and shows a real commitment to maintaining open communication with the client and team members.
Teamwork: Committed to working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve project tasks for the team. Willing to learn from others and open to giving and receiving feedback.
Flexibility/adaptability: This requires the candidate to have the sufficient capacity to adapt to the IMC work methodology and different work environments (office and field) that the candidate might have later during a mission.
Technical Tasks:
1. Facilitate psychosocial clients visits with psychiatrist, medical doctor, gynaecologist, and other services as necessary
2. Assist psychosocial clients in designing a Safety Plan for life threatening situations
3. Set up and maintain the necessary procedures to diminish the security risks for all service providers visiting and/or working at PSCC
4. Provide on the job refresher training sessions for PSCC team members in the correct classification of PSS and correct use of tools and SOP guidelines within the PSCC.
5. Lead refresher training for focal persons in other healthcare facilities during case
management meetings.
6. Manage the timely provision of services to the survivors who come to PSCC, including psychosocial counselling service, basic legal assistance, basic evidence collection, referral to other institutions depending on survivor s’ choice and case management.
Ethical and Procedural Guidelines:
1. Maintain an attitude of respect and support toward the survivors.
2. Ensure adherence to procedures for confidentiality of survivor at every step
3. Follow ethical guidelines of PSS response established in PSS SOP
5. Observe necessary protocols to diminish the security risks for all service providers visiting and/or working at PSCC

Requirements
Qualifications: Having MD diploma for a recognized Medical Faculty/University
Experience: Past work experience of 1 to 3 years in team management and administration or in medical field
Experience in gender-based violence and Psychosocial support services are plus point
Competency: Good communication and presentation skills
Natively knowledge of local languages and working knowledge of English language. Knowledge of MS. Office and computer programs and the people with work experience in the networking field will be preferred.
Ability to analyse the needs when required.
