Job Description

  • Planning: Develop a comprehensive project plan at the provincial level, outlining timelines, deliverables, and resource needs.
  • Field Operations Management: Supervise and manage field staff to ensure adherence to project objectives and timelines, optimizing productivity.
  • Food Requests: Collect, compile, and share food consumption rates and stock balances promptly, coordinating necessary food requests for project activities.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Maintain regular communication with provincial and district officials, fostering effective cooperation. Collaborate with community leaders, school management, and parents to address risks associated with the school feeding program.
  • Reporting: Utilize data management systems to collect, compile, and report relevant data, including stock balances, consumption rates, and attendance records. Prepare comprehensive field reports on school feeding activities and food distribution, submitting timely updates to the project manager.
  • Team Coordination: Facilitate communication and coordination among project teams, supporting a collaborative work environment. Assist the SF project manager in managing emergencies as directed.
  • Training and Mentorship: Provide training and mentorship to field staff, ensuring proficiency in their roles and responsibilities.
  • Integration and Synergy: Coordinate with other project staff to promote integration and synergy, maximizing resource utilization and collaboration.
  • Meetings and Events: Participate in monthly staff meetings, training workshops, and project events to contribute to organizational objectives.
  • Site Monitoring: Conduct regular visits to project sites for activity monitoring, progress evaluation, and quality assurance.
  • Policy Adherence: Adhere to all organizational policies, including transparency, accountability, and code of conduct.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent diploma in Management, Education, Sociology, or a related social science field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in project management, community development, or related fields, with a focus on the education sector.
  • Excellent communication skills in Pashto/Dari and English, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Package.
  • Strong team-building and management skills.
  • Effective negotiation and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficient in time management and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with the province and its districts.
