Job Description

Job Summary

Manage of the project at provincial/district and community levels and coordination of project with provincial/district stakeholders.

Job Description

  • Ensuring Provision of life Saving projec plan and implementation with compliance and in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract.
  • Coordination of project activities with all involved stakeholders at provincial, district and community level
  • Provide technical and non-technical support to the Provincial/district team of Takhta Pul and Arghestan for proper management of the project
  • Provide clear guidance/instructions for provincial/district staff either on technical and non-technical issues
  • Liaise the issues between district/communities and national level partners
  • Review, prepare and finalize provincial report of the project progress
  • Close follow up the FATPs activities according to the project TOR
  • Supervision and monitoring of the project in line with the agreed action plan
  • Conduct regular supervisory visit from Takhta pul and Arghestan district  and follow agreed action plan
  • Reviews M&E findings and develop action plan and take required action
  • Follow OCCD’s established policies, procedures and objectives; continuous quality improvement initiative works and performance.
  • Work closely with technical and administration, finance, and logistic heads for development of OCCD programs.
  • Establish close coordination with community and consider the AAP requirement
  • Follow up and track smooth delivery of project required supplies and other materials
  • Oversee the provincial project team at provincial/ districts and community level
  • Design and contextualize the action plan into the local context
  • Provide report/data to the national team when needed.
  • Tackle the problems arise during project implementation
  • Participation in PPHD, and provincial health office and other provincial/district and community stakeholders meeting
  • Coordinates activities of the project and other team engaged in project
  • Preparing monthly, quarterly and end project and training report.
  • Supervision/ monitoring and joint supervision with provincial health team and donors when is required
 

Job Requirements

  • Graduated form medical university (MD)
  • Bachelor degree, 2 years of work experience in the relevant field.
  • Good communication skills (written and spoken) of Dari, Pashto & English
  • Demonstrated skills in health management and ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Ability to travel to the targeted districts and other related districts when it is required.
  • Ability to support provincial team and provide/receive constructive feedback
  • Knowledge of planning/organizing/communication skills, problem analysis/solving presentation skills/facilitation and coaching skills
