Organization for Community Coordination and Development (OCCD) established and registered with the Ministry of Economy in 2013, is a non-profit, non-governmental, non-political, and independent organization. OCCD works in partnership with Government, development and implementing partners in Health, Education, Agriculture, and Livestock, Research and Development
1. Administrative Oversight: Managing the day-to-day administrative operations of the hospital, ensuring smooth functioning of all departments and services.
2. Resource Management: Overseeing the allocation and utilization of resources such as staff, equipment, and finances to ensure optimal efficiency and effectiveness.
3. Personnel Management: Hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating staff members to ensure competent and motivated workforce.
4. Budgeting and Financial Management: Developing and managing budgets, ensuring financial sustainability, and overseeing financial reporting and accountability.
5. Patient and staff safety: Implementing quality assurance measures to maintain high standards of patient care, safety, and satisfaction of both hospital clients, and staff of the hospital.
6. Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing strategic plans and policies to improve healthcare delivery, meet community needs, and achieve organizational goals.
7. Stakeholder Relations: Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with PPHD and PHOs of Badghis, and other agencies, donors, community organizations, and other stakeholders to support the hospital's mission and objectives.
8. Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring compliance with EPHS, SBM standards, and relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards governing healthcare delivery.
9. Emergency Preparedness: Developing and implementing emergency preparedness plans to respond effectively to crises and disasters, and mass causalities.
10. Community Engagement: Engaging with the local community to assess needs, address concerns, and promote health education and awareness initiatives, and ensure the community board for the hospital is functional, they have regular meetings, and the Minuit of the meetings are recorded.
11. Conduct Regular Supervision: Conducting regular supervision visits to different wards of the hospital to ensure compliance with policies, protocols, and quality standards, as well as to address any issues or concerns that arise.
12. Food Supply Management: Ensuring that an adequate supply of food materials is provided for in-bed patients according to prescribed menus, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences.
13. Patient-Centered Services: Ensuring that patient-centred care is prioritized, with a focus on meeting the needs, preferences, and rights of patients while delivering high-quality healthcare services.
14. Staff Duty Roster: Compiling and implementing a duty roster for on-duty staff to ensure adequate coverage across all hospital departments and shifts.
15. Supply Chain Management: Ensuring that there is a sufficient supply of pharmaceuticals and medical equipment available in the hospital to meet the needs of patients and healthcare providers.
16. Staff Conduct: Monitoring and ensuring that the behavior of hospital staff towards patients is respectful, compassionate, and in line with professional standards and codes of conduct.
17. Record-Keeping and Reporting: Overseeing the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date records and reports in different hospital wards, including patient records, inventory records, and incident reports.
18. Hospital Cleanliness and Infection Control: Ensuring that hospital wards are kept clean and hygienic, with strict adherence to infection prevention and control protocols to minimize the risk of healthcare-associated infections.
19. Ensures there is no data discrepancy of hospitals HMIS reports and the accuracy and consistency of the data are ensured in PH.
20. Participants in the meetings of Hospital Community Boards and provides sound inputs.
21. Ensures that all committees in the hospitals are established and are well functioning.
22. Ensure Assessing knowledge, skills, attitudes and behavior of Hospital staff.
23. Execute any other job assigned by his/her supervisor.
