The men engagement Project Officer task is to engage men as allies and supporters of women’s rights and women’s empowerment. By educating men and influencing their attitudes and behaviours, men can play a positive role in advocating for women’s rights, combatting violence against women, and challenging patriarchal structures and social norms that are harmful to women.
The Male Engagement Officer will oversee the design, planning, implementation, and delivery of an integrated training program targeting male stakeholders at various levels to support and reinforce positive outcomes for women. The Male Engagement Officer will mobilize male family members and other male religious leaders and community leaders, to engage in discussion forums and formal training sessions around critical issues that impact the rights and empowerment of women.
3. Key Expected Results:
The project officer is overall responsible for implementation and reporting, provision of support to the male engagement activities in project target areas in case detection/referral, encouraging and facilitating men supportive groups, men champion groups, and role model men participation and involvement in the decision-making process, establishing linkages between KWA and local authorities, government non-government agencies and other relevant stakeholders.
5. Network building/ Planning and Implementation of project activities:
Based in Kabul main office with regularly visit to the project coverage areas (PD1, PD5, PD6, PD7, PD8, PD13, and PD16) and the three rural districts of (Bagrami, Farza and Mir Bacha Kot) of Kabul city.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in social science, education, political science, business administration, economics, agriculture, literature, journalism, social development, community development, sociology, agricultural and any other related fields.
Experience:
Languages: Fluency in written and spoken English, Pashto and Dari.
General: Under the direct supervision and guidance of Project Advocacy Supervisor and Project Manager.
