Job Description

  • Project Planning and Implementation.
  • Develop work plans, monitor progress of the project, and prepare all types of required reports.
  • Manage and oversee all project staff and project activities and make sure implementation is on schedule.
  • Ensuring existence of M&E plans and reports.
  • Tracking the project progress to ensure the activities are being implemented according to the work plan and objectives.
  • Develop necessary tools for monitoring and evaluation of the project activities and ensure monitoring and evaluation systems, reporting and quality controls are in place.
  • Facilitating/ supporting the national staff and donor staff in monitoring and evaluating the project.
  • Give on time technical and other assistance to the project staff and stakeholders.
  • Designing project activities including engineering designs, BOQs, workplans, checklists, etc.
  • Any other tasks and duties assigned by the project manager

   Administrative

  • Sharing and resolving problems and needs of project and project staff with program.
  • Ensure relevant government departments and donor agency are updated on project activities and their involvement confirmed in project activities.
  • Lead and motivate the team ensuring that they have clear objectives and receive meaningful feedback on their performance.
  • Reporting to Head of Program and programs coordinator on project activities.
  • Conducting meetings with all line departments, donor agency, and community members regarding implementation and other related issues.
  • Manage closely all project activities in project provinces.
  • Monitor and manage all distributions data and make provision of services is on time.

  Coordination

  • Keep sufficient and proper coordination mechanism with relevant stakeholders and line departments.
  • Avoiding the inappropriateness or conflict with cultural beliefs of groups within the target communities.
  • Contact with community elders, local Shura members and other community influential people in participatory way to operate in a very efficient and coordinated manner.
  • Strengthen coordination between project staff and stakeholders.

 Financial management

  • Ensure effective and efficient utilization of project budget under responsibility for intended purposes.

Logistic

  • Arranging and managing logistics administration and transportation aspects/needs of project and project staff with the logistics department.

  Data Management & Reporting

  • Organize and maintain project documentation in hard and soft.
  • Jointly work with project staff in preparing the data properly and in a timely manner.
  • Document the lessons learned and case studies and share with project staff and other stakeholders.
  • Regular on time Reporting to the Line Managers on the roles and responsibilities given/ project implementation.
  • Collection of data from the field and generating reports.
  • Compiling daily, weekly, monthly, and other reports.
  • Providing several different types of reports and figures upon request from main office or donor.
  • Ensure effective documentation of the program and progress by capturing lesson learnt and good practices.

 Other

  • Participate in training workshops, meetings and project events held in any provinces.
  • Visit project sites and monitor all activities.
  • Respect and adore all policies of KRO code of conduct.
  • Maintain 100% transparency and accountability.
  • Any other task assigned by management.

Job Requirements

  • At least bachelor’s degree in project management, Engineering, architecture or other relevant degree (Higher degrees are preferred);
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in relevant field especially in development projects.
  • Having work experience in NGO/INGO will be preferred.
  • Must be excellence in MS office package and reporting.
  • Must have excellent command of English and local languages.
  • Can work for long hours and under pressure; and
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work in a team'-oriented environment.
