About BARAN

Bu Ali Rehabilitation and Aid Network (BARAN) is a nongovernmental, non-political and independent organization. BARAN has been established in 27.7.2006 registered with the Ministry of Economy (MoEc), Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), Ministry of Education (MoE) , Ministry of labour, Social Affairs, Martyrs and Disabled (MoLSAMD), Ministry of Justice (MoJ) in order to deliver standard health care, social and educational services including conducting researches. Special attention is given for the community development by promoting capacity building programs.

Job Description

The project manager is direct responsibility for the overall daily management, implementation and administration of the project. He represents the project in the provincial level and makes sure regular and active supportive supervision and monitoring of all project activities take place followed up by appropriate corrective measures based on findings and feedbacks. He will also make sure timely development and submission of project reports he is also going to be responsible for analyze and review of budget versus activities implementation in coordination with finance unit at central level. The project manager makes sure that all applicable policies, guidelines and procedures are implemented appropriately.
To assist program line managers, supervisors in the planning and implementing of project(s);
To be fully aware from responsibilities of MOPH and BARAN toward project implementation;
To follow standard reporting timelines as per project contract reporting formats and provides quality and timely reports to line supervisor;
To ensure that all relevant staff are aware from project time schedule (as approved in the contract) and update his/her line supervisor on monthly basis;

Job Requirements

MD or a related field (preferred to female)
7 years of experience in health programmes management in developing countries.
Fluency in English language with qualities to generate reports
Ability to manage project plan activities
Strong interpersonal, communication and coordination skills
Ability to travel to rural locations in province.
Ability to work alongside others under stressful conditions in conflict-prone situations
Team player with proven leadership skills
