Job Description

 Key Accountabilities: 

The Admin Assistant is accountable to carry out the following key role and responsibilities but not limited to: 
•    Assist education department in provision of administrative support.
•    Establish and Maintain Proper filling system for Education Department.
•    Provide administrative support to Tariners and Kankor Facilitators for day to day work accomplishment.
•    Responsible to maintain up to date program files, records and information both soft and hard copies.
•    To prepare attendance sheets of all Kankor Facilitators, and update their leave balances.
•    Manage all project files and records and ensure that data is adequately stored and backed up.
•    Support line Manager in printing, copying and binding materials, administrative issue and clerical services.
•    Follow up with Finance, logistic, Admin and HR related tasks of the program.
•    Updating Education program database including teachers, students and classes profiles on regular basis, base on field data and share the updated database to project manager and project coordinator on monthly basis. 
•    Assist in administrative data collection and follow up rest of the processes.
•    Provision of administrative and logistical support to training team. 
•    Follow up of Kankor Boost participants IGA 
•    Coordination meeting with Universities, PED , DED and students’ parents. 
•    Sharing progress report on regular basis.
•    Carry out other duties and responsibilities as directed by the Line Manager.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

•    Bachelor degree in Economic, Computer science , Education and relevant studies. 
•    At least 2-3 years of work relevant experience, with local and International NGOs.
•    Very good spoken and written Pashto, Dari – understanding of English language is essential. 
•    Good working skills on computer i.e. Microsoft office (word, excel, power point).
•    Strong understaning of Pashto, Dari language and  English language desirable.
•    Able to travel inside Kandahar and related districts, outside of the duty station as and when required. 
Desirable

•    Strong understanding of English language and computer programs.
