Job Description

Identify and lead new programming opportunities and represent AADA to donors, partners and other stakeholders;
Assist in the development of professional relationships with external stakeholders and potential partners to explore opportunities for funding;
Conduct needs assessments and gather data to firm up program requirements;
Lead drafting proposals, EOIs and concept notes;
Track upcoming funding opportunities and donor engagement strategy and processes, provide monthly updates to the senior management team;
Lead development of documents, data and information required by AADA and/or donors;
Develop AADA Annual Report;
Identify weaknesses and gaps in AADA policies and procedures and plan for corrective actions;
Participate in the revision and development of AADA policies and procedures;
Participate in project planning in close coordination with relevant AADA departments;

Regular update of AADA website;

Review and edit technical reports before submitting them to donors.
Oversee the implementation and follow-up of the projects and ensure the project interventions are in line with the proposal documents and donor requirements;

Job Requirements

Medical Doctor with a master’s degree and a minimum of two years of experience in program development;
Excellent coordination, organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and negotiate clearly and effectively at all levels;
Experience in presenting project information to donors and partners;
Ability and willingness to change work practices and hours, and work with incoming surge teams, in the event of emergencies.
Fluency in written and spoken English language
