The Norwegian Afghanistan Committee (NAC) has a zero tolerance of sexual exploitation, abuse, and harassment (SEAH) both within the organization and of beneficiaries. Prevention of and protection from sexual exploitation, abuse, and harassment (PSEAH) is the individual and collective responsibility of all NAC officers, management, staff, consultants, and volunteers, who are all required to familiarize themselves with, agree to, and act in accordance with NAC’s Ethical Guidelines and Commitment, NAC Child Protection Policy, and NAC PSEAH Policy, at all times – both during and outside working hours – and participate actively in introductory and refresher trainings. Job Description

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Treatment of disabled and non-disabled people in the area who need physiotherapy.
  • Patients’ assessment and documentation.
  • Monitoring the progress of patients and adjusting or changing treatments as needed
  • To manage the Physiotherapy care of the patient, including patient assessment treatment planning, and implementation for those conditions and disabilities prevalent in the area.
  • To express good empathy, safety, and competence in the handling of disabled and none disabled physiotherapy-related patients.
  • To follow up with the disabled people who have been referred to other rehabilitation sources.
  • To participate in internal or external meetings.
  • Referral patients to other rehabilitation centers.
  • To keep the clinic and it is equipment clean and tidy and store all equipment in a safe way.
  • To share his/her knowledge and experience with relevant colleagues.
  • To report the regular activities to the line manager.
 

Job Requirements

Languages Required:

  •  Pashtu
  • Dari
  • English

 

Qualifications Required:

  • 3 years diploma in Physiotherapy.

 

Experience Required:

  • Junior or with one year of experience in the field of Physiotherapy.

 

Skills Required:

  • Basic Computer skills
  • Organization skills
  • Communications skills
  • Advanced skills in writing (Dari/ Pashtu)
  • Functioning of telecommunications equipment
  • Having good clinical skills.
  • Report writing skills.

 

Justification:

This position is part of the Emergency Support project for the 2022 emergency humanitarian response.
