ROLE PURPOSE:
The overall purpose of this position is to manage pharmaceutical and nutrition commodities stock of the provincial warehouse and make sure, pharmaceuticals supply and consumption of H&N project in the event of a major humanitarian emergency, the role holder will be expected to work outside the normal role profile and be able to vary working hours accordingly.

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
o Provide necessary logistical support to project interventions
o Manage pharmaceutical stock of provincial warehouse and make sure stock cards have been updated regularly and should collect OPD prescription on monthly basis from the IMHNT and should cross check with the Pharmacy stock cards
o Dispatch medicines from provincial warehouse to the MNTs as per needs and standard logistical processes
o Collection monthly pharmaceuticals consumption reports from the IMHNT and enter the health facility pharmaceutical monthly supply and consumption report to supply and consumption database
o Ensure proper temperature at pharmacy warehouse
o Collect supply request from the mobile health and nutrition team on regular basis and manage supply based on their request
o Ensure proper record keeping of pharmaceutical (first in first out, supply, consumption, temperature expiry date)
o Sharing pharmaceuticals supply and consumption reports with project coordinator and pharmacy focal point at CO.
o Under take field visit and cross check report with pharmacy stock cards and OPD prescription. and ensure antibiotic usage percentage.
o Regard FIFO and FEFO concepts in pharmaceuticals stock management

Graduated from recognized pharmacy institute
A registered pharmacist
