Background
Youth Health and Development Organization (YHDO) is an Afghanistan nongovernmental organization that promotes health and advocate for the right of young people in the country. YHDO will implement the HIV NFM grant (Scaling up HIV interventions among Key Affected Populations in Afghanistan) in Balkh, Badakhshan, and Kunduz provinces. Therefore YHDO is looking to recruit a qualified social worker for the OST center in Kunduz province to perform the related activities in the center.
Position Description:
The Social Worker will be responsible for the counseling all clients coming to the OST center and representing YHDO to the community stakeholders. The social worker will work under the supervision of the Facility Coordinator and will be reportable to the Facility Coordinator.
Specific Responsibilities:
1. Medical assistant or Nurse, or another health degree.
2. Three years’ experience in a health-related field
3. Experience of working in OST center
3. Knowledge on use of computer office program
4. Excellent oral and writing skills in Pashto, Dari language
