Job Description

 Duties and Responsibilities:

 

General Duties

  • . ensure that the vehicle log sheet is properly filled accurate and updated. 
  • . drive the office vehicle safely for transport of authorized personnel.
  • Ensure that all repair and services are carried out under safe working condition and that any defect or problem with the vehicle are reported immediately to the field supply chain.
  • . supervise fuel storage and help with storekeeper during storing spare parts.

 

Specific Duties:

  • . perform emergency driving and repairs of vehicles as per need.
  • . maintain and services all vehicles and generators to include documentation and servicing record if necessary.
  • . responsible for ensuring the use of spare parts in the most effective and productive manner.
  •   Ensure servicing files are maintained in accordance with IRC policy.
 

Job Requirements

Qualification and Requirements:

  • Education: Essential to know reading and writing.
  • Years of Experience: 5 years of working with international organizations and NGOs.
  • Skills: Excellent Experience of Driving in each condition, especially in emergencies.
  • Technical Competency: full knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
  • Communication and reporting skills: should directly report emergency to line supervisor
  • Fluency in Pashto, Dari, and basic English
  • Ability to work closely, professionally, and constructively with all others regardless of nationality, ethnicity, gender, religion, race, tribe, or cultural background.
