Job Description

Responsibilities:Under the responsibility of Orthopedic Doctor you will be responsible for:

In Genreral;: The employee will respect the Handicap International PSEA policy, Do no Harm policy, and other realted procedures and standards.

Objective_1: Nursing care and management of Trauma related patient

  • To check and record the vital signs of patients on a regular basis.
  • To Provide triage, and care for trauma patients, and preventing secondary complications.
  • To handle serious injuries
  • To able to work with urgent care patients
  • To follow up the patient for wound managment protocol
  • To check mild to moderate wound infection
  • To follow up closed down wound infection in patient
  • To follow up patinet related skin graft infection
  • To follow up patinets having diabetic ulcers
  • To follow up pain assesment and management( Adult and children scale) patients
  • To follow up protective personal equipment
  • To provide assistance and nursing care of Bladder management,bowl management, UTI, Pulmonary function assesment.
  •  To assist in nursing care of pressure wounds and ulcer wounds patinet. 
  •   To conduct an individualized patient assessment, prioritizing the data collection based on the patient’s immediate condition or needs within timeframe
  •   To conduct ongoing assessments as determined by patient’s condition
  •   To develop plan of care that is individualized for the patient reflecting collaboration with Orthropedic doctor.
  •   To perform appropriate treatments as ordered by Orthropedic doctor in an accurate and timely manner.
  •   To perform therapeutic nursing interventions as established by Orthropedic doctor
  •   To deliver care with appropriate age and cultural competence to patinet
  •   To provides individualized patient/family education customized to the patient and his/her family.
  •   To Maintain confidentiality in matters related to patient, family and client facility staff.
  •   To provide care in a non-judgmental, non-discriminatory manner that is sensitive to the patient’s and family’s diversity, preserving their autonomy, dignity and rights.
  •   To reports patient condition to appropriate personnel during each shift to Orthropedic doctor.

Reporting:

  • To report on monthly bases to PRC Orthopedic doctor.   
 

Job Requirements

Knowledge required

Essential:

  • Nursing diploma
  • 3 years’ experience in nursing at private and governmental hospital Or NGOs.

Skills
