About DAARTT (Danish Assistance to Afghan Rehabilitation and Technical Training)

DAARTT (Danish Assistance to Afghan Rehabilitation and Technical Training) is an NGO established in Afghanistan by the Danish People’s Aid (DPA) in 2003.

The organization is specialized in construction and has built more than 200 schools, clinics and other buildings in Afghanistan, but is also engaged in humanitarian activities, such as construction of wells for drought-hit families and distribution of non-food items and emergency cash to people in need. Activities are funded by AHF and Danish humanitarian funds. DAARTT is a member of ACBAR and of the Shelter and NFI, WASH and education clusters

Job Description

• Coordinating, leading and conducting rapid needs assessments in the field using HEAT and other indorsed/approved tools
• Establish good contact and linkages with other humanitarian actors in the field
• Beneficiary selection processes
• Planning and implementation of activities
• Conducting Rapid Market assessments
• Data collection, both through paper based and digital forms
• Conducting Post Distribution Monitoring if required.
• Produce basic reports on needs assessments and proposed responses
• Support the compilation of daily, weekly and monthly report
• Monitoring of the project activities
• Work with all team members to ensure activities are delivered in a timely manner
• Regularly review the progress and implementation of plan or project.
• Maintain M&E files and train field staff in documenting process and results of data collection
• Monitor and evaluate overall progress on achievement of results;
• Collect data on a regular basis to measure achievement against the performance indicators.
• Support fellow team members in capturing and documenting best practices and success stories for learning, reference and dissemination
• Ensure accurate and timely collection of program data from the field
• Keep update data, proper documentation, filling and reporting to immediate supervisor in a timely manner.
• Maintain close links and coordination with communities and local authorities. 

            Any other tasks assigned by supervisor
