International Medical Corps (IMC) is a global humanitarian nonprofit organization dedicated to saving lives and relieving suffering through health care training and relief programs. IMC is carrying out medical relief services in several provinces of Afghanistan.
Job Purpose
To provide psychological and social facilitation and consultation for beneficiaries of the project and to provide appropriate psychosocial sessions to identified persons or households in need, including children through family groups and individuals as part of primary health care in the targeted provinces’ areas.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Provide Mental Health Case Management Services.
Provide individual and group psychosocial support services.
Help people to cope better and enhance their resilience in their everyday life.
Help beneficiaries to resume their normal lives and mental well-being.
Meet community-identified mental health needs through comprehensive Mental Health Case Management.
Provide parenting skills training and psychoeducation sessions.
Support and follow-up of the referred cases.
Mental health case recoding and documentation.
Perform other official tasks and duties that are expected by their related supervisor.

Qualification:
Bachelor of Psychology, Social Science, Health/Medical, Mental Health Diploma or 9-12 year graduates with five years’ experience in the area of MH 3 | Page
Experience:
A minimum of 1 year of professional experience in providing MHPSS services and/or working with community or public/primary health care services.
Competency
Strong interpersonal, networking, and communication skills.
Speaking skills; Pashto and Dari -
