The Afghanistan Capacity Development and Educational Organization (ACDEO) is an Afghan, non-governmental, non-political, non-profit and nationally registered NGO established in 2012. ACDEO provides women and children the opportunities for mental health and psychosocial counselling, and education enabling them to help themselves and their families. ACDEO has primarily focused on supporting Afghan women and their families in different areas such as Family Support Helpline, Education Promotion and Sustainability Promotion.

Overview:
The MHPSS Counselor will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs aimed at building the capacity on Mental Health/hygiene to communities in Kabul and Balkh. This role requires expertise in counseling theory and practices, as well as experience in training delivery and capacity building within the mental health sector.
