Job Description

  • Provide administrative support to MHPSS Manager.
  • Compile and update the MHPSS activities weekly, biweekly, and monthly for Narrative reports
  •  In close coordination with the Health & Nutrition Coordinator and the two Health and Nutrition coordinators, the MHPSS Manager and MHPSS Officer ensure efficient and effective program implementation
  • Follow up and support when needed the communication with counterparts
  • To follow up on logistics and procurement with support staff for providing the on-time support by support staff for smooth running of program activities.
  • Support and keep active communication with MHPPS Officers.
  • Collect and provide necessary information and contribute to the planning organizing and development of all aspects of the MHPSS activities.
  • Keep and save the field activities pictures and able to prepare successful stories in the required time for preparation of the report.
  • Maintain and efficient filing system for all administrative and operational records and manage program database and documentation for required administrative activities.
  • Responsible for scheduling meetings and including preparation of venue, stationery, and training materials.
  • Maintain the MHPSS Mapping update in close coordination with MHPSS filed officers.
  • Any other task assigned by the manager.

 

Job Requirements

  • Holds a Degree in Psychology.
  • 2 to 3-year post-qualification experience in related work preferably within an INGO or organization with similar setting.
  • Experience in MHPSS project implementation within an INGO setting
  • Good knowledge of counselling and community mobilization methods and tools
  • Good spoken and written English,
  • Excellent knowledge of local languages
  • Good communicator with proven organizational skills
  • Previous experience in training/team capacity building
  • Ability to work well in a team setting
  • Good computer skills (Microsoft word, Power Point and Excel)
  • Experience in working within a medical team and community-based organizations
  • Knowledge about MHPSS
  • Working in emergency and development project
  • Exposure to research.
  • Good knowledge of area of operation
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to be innovative, flexible, and adaptive.
  • Ability to live in challenging conditions and ability to work under difficult, high pressure situations.  
  • Fluency in English, Pashto/Dari
  • Computer skills (including MS Word, Excel, Access, and internet)
  • Ability to work closely, professionally, and constructively with all others regardless of nationality, ethnicity, gender, religion, race, tribe, or cultural background
