HEWADis a preeminent first responder, HEWAD provides emergency relief to those struck by conflict, disaster and disease—no matter where they are, no matter what the conditions—working with them to recover, rebuild and gain the skills and tools required for self-reliance. After the emergency has passed and our disaster-relief effort has ended, we shift from emergency medical response to long-term medical support and training. HEWAD provides resources and training to help local staff provide a range of services—including healthcare, food, water and sanitation support—to their communities.

Job Description

General Responsibilities:

  • Performed daily visits of patients      (OPD, IPD) Patients are treated with dignity and have a right to be treated in a respectful manner.
  •  Regular attend OPD, IPD to follow all physical diagnostic steps like history taking, examination, investigations, treatment and Health Education.
  •    Attend morning report, visits, round, technical seminars and discussions.
  • Accurate, proper and on time records and filling of  all  HMIS forms and patients files according to the EPHS standards
  • Follow all nationals' Medical protocols and other for case definition and management.
  • Perform night and day duty based on the approved schedules for IPD & emergency room
  • To provide on time, accurate and standard treatment to the patients in OPD, IPD & emergency department and follow rule of RUD of the MoPH policy.
  • Respect and follow HEWAD ORG rules and regulation and proper attitude against the clients for their satisfaction.
  • Performing lifesaving emergency measures as needed.
  • Prescribe according to the standard protocol of Health policy.
  • Conduct Health education session in all relevant issue with Patients,
  • To identify complicated cases and refer them to specialist.
  • To keep record of activities and submit reports to head of the department.
  • Attending and participate in all necessary meeting, workshop and training including weekly hospital conferences.
  • Any patient if need to refer to other Hospital before to refer all related investigation must be completed and consult with ICU department and ward specialist
  • Never allow to perform private practice during official time
  • Perform any other related task given by HEWAD.
  • Responsible for IMCI and TB program improvement in OPD.
  • Taking part in other activities given by head of department.

Job Requirements

  • Degree of MD Certified by MoPH.
  • Working experience as General Practitioner 2 to 4 years in hospital.
  • Good English language skills. Computer skills are preferable.
  • To work in team
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
