Job Description

  • Create positive relations with community through regular meetings and informal discussion for identifying and addressing education needs and issues.
  • Work with community and school shuras members for identifying qualified teachers for CBE classes.
  • Create plans for making announcement and CV collections of CBE teachers at the community and district level.
  • Prepare shortlist of CBE teachers’ applicants under guidance of provincial Community Mobilizers and HR officer.
  • Arrange and conduct CBE teacher’s written test and interview process in collaboration with provincial education and HR department.
  • Conduct ETC check for succeed teachers in under the guidance of provincial HR officer.
  • Collect all documents including newly hired teachers’ complete documents and share with Provincial education and HR departments.
  • Share finalized list of succeed teacher with provincial education and HR departments.
 

Job Requirements

  • At least grade 14 educations from a TTC, Bachelor’s degree in the field of education will be desirable.
  • 2 to 3 relevant experience is required
  • Strong oral and written communication skill in Pashto; skills in Dari will also be an asset.
  • Knowledge of the community structure, dynamics and development.
  • Knowledge of the value of education in Holy Islam, the child development and the current trends of education in Afghanistan.
  • Sound training skills, including for illiterate people.
  • Ability to frequently travel to the target communities in the targeted district.
