Job Description

  • Devise and oversee the entire supply chain process, encompassing procurement, transportation, inventory management, and distribution.
  • Work closely with storekeepers to diligently track and manage stock levels of WSF, Walnut, Raisin, and Sugar. Initiate the requisition (FRN) and purchase request (PR) at least twelve days prior to ingredient depletion. Establish a robust control mechanism to ensure timely ingredient replenishment.
  • Maintain frequent communication with storekeepers to ensure daily updates on ingredient inflow and outflow, meticulously updating the stock card.
  • Establish and uphold consistent communication and supervision with Bakery Supervisors to verify the presence of required fertilized water in each bakery.
  • Implement an organized logistics document filing system.
  • Assist in logistic documentation during audits, ensuring seamless information sharing with relevant departments.
  • Establish effective coordination and communication channels with other ADWSO members, promptly meeting their specific requirements.
  • Maintain an up-to-date inventory list of ADWSO resources at the district level.
  • Conduct regular and timely physical inventory counts, subsequently updating relevant reports.
  • Efficiently manage the fleet and drivers deployed for staff and bread+ delivery to designated schools.
  • Develop a well-structured transportation plan and driver schedule for ADWSO operations.
  • Perform any additional tasks as delegated by the supervisor.
 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Professional in Supply Management, Certified Supply Chain Professional) are a plus.
  • At least three years’ experience in logistics, supply chain management, or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics processes, procurement, and inventory management principles.
  • Familiarity with import/export regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements.
  • Proficiency in using logistics management software and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Fluency in local languages and good English communication skill is required.
