Job Description

Adroit Associates is seeking a proactive and well experienced Liaison Officer to manage interactions with different stakeholders. The role requires obtaining necessary permissions, handling administrative paperwork, and ensuring regulatory compliance for company operations. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in dealing with line ministries and agencies and be well-versed in Afghan regulatory processes.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

1. Establish and maintain professional relationships with relevant ministries, agencies, and other organizations.

2. Represent Adroit Associates in official meetings and discussions with stakeholder officials and regulatory bodies.

3. Facilitate the acquisition of permission letters from relevant ministries or agencies and ensure all required regulatory approvals are secured prior to project initiation.

4. Assist in obtaining tax clearance certificates and ensuring compliance with regulations.

5. Process necessary paperwork and applications related to company operations.

6. Monitor and stay informed about changes in governmental policies and regulations affecting business operations.

7. Handle official correspondences and documentation submission with government offices.

8. Perform external company tasks such as delivering and collecting official documents from government offices.

9. Provide general administrative support as required by the management.

10. Carry out other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

Education:

Bachelor's degree in public administration, law, public relation, or a related field preferred.

Experience:

Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience in liaison and government relations, with a strong and successful track record of effectively engaging with regulatory bodies and navigating governmental procedures.

Skills and personal attributes:

•             Strong understanding of prevailing procedures, including permission letter acquisition and compliance requirements.

•             Familiarity with tax clearance processes and administrative document handling.

•             Strong Communication Skills: Ability to effectively interact and negotiate with government officials, agencies, and stakeholders.

•             Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with prevailing procedures, compliance requirements, and administrative protocols in Afghanistan.

•             Problem-Solving Ability: Capable of addressing challenges and navigating bureaucratic processes efficiently.

•             Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.

•             Interpersonal Skills: Professional and diplomatic in handling sensitive matters and fostering strong relationships with external entities.

•             Confidentiality & Integrity: High ethical standards in dealing with official documents and confidential company matters.

•             Proficiency in Office Tools: Skilled in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and communication.

•             Language Proficiency: Fluency in Dari, Pashto, and English with strong written and verbal communication skills.

•             Adaptability & Initiative: Ability to work independently, take initiative, and adapt to changes in stakeholder policies and procedures.
