The Organization of Human Welfare (OHW) is a non-governmental organization (NGO) and is non-political, not-for-profit, and impartial organization with no bias towards a particular religion, ethnicity, or political belief. It has its own independent legal status and entity. OHW is registered with the Ministry of Economy in Kabul, Afghanistan (Registration No: 1014) and is a member of South West Afghanistan and Baluchistan Agency for Coordination (SWABAC), the coordinating body for NGOs in southern Afghanistan. The Managing Director of OHW also formally represents SWABAC in coordination meetings at the national level.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Setting up an efficient communication tools/system for the program at the central and provincial levels in line with the donors and governmental guidelines.
2. Research, compile and present basic information for use in the preparation and production of the Program.
3. Create and maintain contact database of all national and international donors and Government Agencies.
4. Assist the Program Director/project manager in meeting deadlines (Reports submission, field visits by donors and government Agencies)
5. Will be able to represent the project activities in donors and government agencies meetings.
6. To be aware of project activities and keep accessible report for any inspection by government/ or donors.
7. Undertake field visits to all regional Offices and project sites to be aware of project activities.
8. Undertake any task delegated by the Program Director.
The successful candidate should have the following skills, experience and qualifications:
1. Degree in BBA or in related field.
2. At least 4 years experiences in related field.
3. Strong written and oral communication skills in Dari, Pashto and English
4. Excellent knowledge of computer software applications
5. Strong leadership and management skills and the ability to lead a team
6. Excellent presentation and communication skills.
7. Willing to travel all over the country
8. Ability to liaise with relevant stakeholders at the centre and provinces.
9. Effective communication and writing skills.
10. Ability to work both independently and as an effective team member
