Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Travel:
  • Booking the  International and Domestic Flights for ACTED staff and buy tickets.
  • Arranging travel of Expats and Local staff from departure to arrival with direct contact and link with Logistic Dept.
  • Managing the Receiving & departure of expatriates in Air port
  • Preparing Note Verbal letters for Embassies & MoFA to issue visas for ACTED Expats & file the related documents.
  • Issuing visa for ACTED staff.
  • Updating and inform all Expats regarding any change of rule and regulation of Embassies for visas.
  • Following up of all Expats’ visas and have a computerized-up date of their visa’s information.
  • Having E-mail contact with Paris, Islamabad and all bases regarding In & Out of Expats & keeping informed Head of Administration & Human Resources in charge by putting their names in E-mail CC bar.
  • Keeping all Expatriates’ and senior local staffs’ passport copies. 
  1. Liaising:
  • Making appointment with Afghan authorities.
  • Following -up national regulation, taxes, registration of assets, etc…
  • Seting -up, follow-up and update all internal regulation.
  • Receiving and sending all air cargo.
  • solving  ACTED's all official requirements with Governmental, non-governmental and NGOs offices and  linking between ACTED and All offices.
  • preparing and sending his/her activity report in daily bases to his/her line manager/supervisor.
 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree business administration, public Administration or related field
    3-4 years of experience in Liaison Officer/ Assistant
  • Experience working with international NGO
  • Good knowledge of internal liaison/logistics policies, processes and procedures generally and significant experience in their application to the logistics, supplies and services
  • Good computer skills and proficiency in standard computer applications (e.g. Word, Excel etc.)
  • Fluency in English, Dari, and Pashtu
