About Help – Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe, Afghanistan

Background:

“Help – Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe” is a German non-governmental charity-organization duly registered with the courts of law in Germany and in several host countries, such as Afghanistan and Iran. Help was founded in 1981 by concerned Members of Parliament of all parties represented in the German Parliament. We started providing humanitarian assistance for Afghan refugees in Pakistan and Iran, and soon extended to development-oriented activities. We provide aid and development-support regardless of race, creed or nationality. Priorities are set on the basis of need and upon the request from partners and vulnerable communities to cooperate fairly and transparently.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cook. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of meals, including Afghan and European cuisines, for staff and guests. This role requires excellent culinary skills, a focus on hygiene and sanitation, and the ability to collaborate with other service staff in a professional environment.

ما درجستجوی یک آشپز ماهر و متعهد هستیم. شخص مورد نظرمسئولیت آماده‌سازی و پخت انواع غذاها، شامل غذاهای افغانی و خارجی، را برای کارمندان و مهمانان به عهده خواهد داشت. این وظیفه نیازمند مهارت‌های عالی آشپزی، تمرکز بر حفظ نظافت و بهداشت، و توانایی همکاری با دیگر کارکنان خدماتی در یک محیط حرفه‌ای می‌باشد

 

Job Requirements

  • Prepare and cook meals for staff and guests under the direct supervision of the Compound Officer.
  • Be proficient in cooking both Afghan and European cuisine as requested by the staff.
  • Procure necessary food materials daily from the market.
  • Collaborate with other service staff for tasks such as washing dishes and cleaning the kitchen.
  • Maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene in compliance with organizational policies.
  • Serve meals in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Provide overtime services during meetings, with compensation agreed upon mutually if required.
  • Exhibit mutual respect and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Perform additional official tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

  • Organized: Capable of managing tasks efficiently and maintaining order in a high-paced environment.
  • Adaptable: Able to work under challenging and difficult conditions.

 

آماده‌سازی و پخت غذا برای کارمندان و مهمانان داخلی و خارجی
مهارت در پخت غذاهای افغانی و خارجی طبق درخواست کارمندان
تهیه مواد غذایی لازم به صورت روزانه از بازار
همکاری با دیگر کارمندان خدماتی در وظایفی مانند شستن ظروف و پاک‌کاری آشپزخانه
حفظ استانداردهای بهداشتی و نظافتی مطابق با پالیسی‌های موسسه
ارائه خدمات اضافی در هنگام جلسات، با توافق قبلی
احترام متقابل و ایجاد یک محیط کاری هماهنگ و حرفه ای
انجام وظایف رسمی اضافی طبق هدایت کارمند ناظر
