Job Description

IT Support officer is responsible to help staff for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. He is responsible for answering queries and addressing system and user issues in a timely and professional manner.

Job Responsibilities:

Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems and BMA business related software’s and applications.

Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware and software issues and replace parts as required.
Setup new users’ accounts and profiles, email configurations, antivirus installation and data backup.
Troubleshooting of all IT related equipment’s (IP phones, Printers, Scanners, Copiers, etc...), as well as providing quick response to daily created problems.
Install network points, patch panels, network switches, racks, cables, printers and VPN boxes with in BMA HQ, city and provincial branches.
Provide training in use of software, hardware and troubleshooting problems to newly hire IT /WU Assistants for BMA City and Provincial branches.
Participate in composition of purchasing board for procuring IT related equipment’s for BMA HQ, city and provincial branches.
Test and evaluate newly purchased IT equipment’s.
Provide remote support to BMA city and provincial branches.
Provide daily activity reports and perform any other duties assigned by Helpdesk supervisor.

Job Requirements

Must be Bachelor in Computer Sciences or other relevant IT Field.

Must have A+ certifications.
Must have knowledge about Microsoft Windows Platform, Cisco Platform
Must have knowledge about Computer Hardware.
Must have knowledge about Network and System Servers
Must have at least 3 years’ experience in the related areas.
