Job Description

  • Installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of the dynamic host configuration protocols (DHCP) server, file server, Microsoft Dynamics NAV, SQL server and email servers, including establishing a regular backup mechanism.
  • Collect, compile, store and analyse data and information collected from the other departments and design and deploy data table structures, forms, reports, queries and implementation of data dashboards to display data in different formats and recommend workflow management system design and view to the system provider.
  • Installing and troubleshooting different computer/network accessories and security camera system.
  • Regular physical inspection of IT equipment’s as a repair and maintenance practice.
  • Train new hired staff on how to use network and other computer peripherals.
  • Provide support on on-going maintenance, design, and development of content on Dynamics NAV system.
  • Manage system security and passwords.
  • Update and maintain IT inventory list.
  • Assist with the procurement of all hardware, software, and IT support services.
  • Provide IT support to all Afghanaid staff.

Other job-related tasks as assigned by the Line Manager.

 

Job Requirements

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Education & Professional Qualification

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science / Information Technology or another relevant areas.

Work Experience

A minimum of 3 years working experience in in IT & Database, Network design, Implementation and maintenance.
