Job Description

HCL Technologies is offering IT Paid - Internship for Final year students who is going to graduate and enter to their future career market. It makes huge advantage for the students to be involved in projects. This position requires on-site support in our Afghanistan brunch office located in Kabul. Design your own flexible schedule within standard M-F work week of 15-20 hours per week. Weekly hours will be determined based on individual school course schedule and business needs. There are 5 Intern positions, 2 males and 3 females.

Responsibilities:

The IT Intern will be placed at HCL Tech Main Office IT department. The IT Intern will be working side-by-side with IT Team and will learn the mentioned tasks on a daily basis.

• Understand all the procedures, rules and regulations of HCL Tech during the internship period.
• Participate actively in the internship program and learn from the trainings provided through the program.
• Apply all the skills gained from the trainings to improve the IT Service Desk at HCL Technologies.
• Support HCL Tech IT team in their daily tasks.
• Work practically with IT Officers and learn IT Service support and troubleshooting.
• Processing requests in the role of 2nd line support
• Ticket management and documentation
• Asset management
• Installation and configuration of new devices
• Provide weekly IT report to Senior IT Manager.
• Provide a final report explaining their achievements and the learning they had from the program to the Senior IT Manager at HCL Tech.
• Any other tasks assign by supervisor(s)

The duration of this Intern program is from September 15, 2022, through March 15, 2023. After completion of the program on March 15, 2023, the interns may be offered a full time position in IT department or introduced to other NGOs and ministries for possible further employment opportunities.
