Job Summary:
The Internal Auditor at ASLO plays a crucial role in detecting and preventing fraud, errors, and ensuring the financial health of the organization. Responsibilities include analyzing financial processes, identifying risks, evaluating controls, planning and executing internal audits, and reporting findings to the Country Director.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Financial Accounting, Financial Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Prefer candidates with a master’s degree in accounting and articleship from reputed audit firms.
Advanced computer skills, including MS Office, accounting software, and databases.
Sound knowledge of auditing standards, procedures, laws, and regulations.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong independent judgment and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to travel to field areas regularly.
