The Bank was granted license on 13th June 2006 and commenced operations from the same date. Responsible for:
Reporting directly to the internal audit manager, the Inter Auditor is responsible for systematically examining all of a branch’s financial transactions to ensure the accuracy and adequacy of accounting record s and systems, and to locate and identify discrepancies, if any.
Job Purpose:
To be part of team executing & implementing the Annual Audit Plan prepared by the Chief Internal Auditor and approved by the Board of Supervisors.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
The Jobholder shall be accountable for the following tasks and responsibilities:
Confirming authorization for cash disbursement and office expense;
Scrutinizing accounts classification;
Scrutinizing cash handing procures;
Confirming a segregation of duties of staff in branches to prevent opportunities for frauds and forgeries.
Confirming the safekeeping of cash and files; and
Assessing the adequacy of staff volume to the branch’s current level of business.
To verify the balances in client saving, external accounts and internal accounts at three levels.
Counting and reconciling cash on hand with daily cash journal;
Confirming balances of inventories, loans repayments, etc.;
