The Norwegian Afghanistan Committee (NAC) has a zero tolerance of sexual exploitation, abuse, and harassment (SEAH) both within the organization and of beneficiaries. Prevention of and protection from sexual exploitation, abuse, and harassment (PSEAH) is the individual and collective responsibility of all NAC officers, management, staff, consultants, and volunteers, who are all required to familiarize themselves with, agree to, and act in accordance with NAC’s Ethical Guidelines and Commitment, NAC Child Protection Policy, and NAC PSEAH Policy, at all times – both during and outside working hours – and participate actively in introductory and refresher trainings. Any breaches of PSEAH clauses in NAC’s policies, guidelines, and/or commitments will lead to immediate termination and possible legal actions.

Job Description

Major Duties and Responsibilities

 (Please provide requirements that are specific to the position and are not typically included in a general job description):

  • Assisting with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties
  • Controlling the staff attendance
  • Collecting the staff time sheet
  • Providing clerical and administrative support to Human Resources executives
  • Creating new file for new employee and updating time by time
  • Getting the applications of the announced positions.
  • Update the personnel files on monthly basis
  • Collecting the documents of the newly recruited staff
  • Assisting with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties
  • Compiling and updating employee records (hard and soft copies)
  • Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment.
  • Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees, when required.
  • Ensure smooth communication with employees and timely resolution to their queries
  • Collecting staff monthly time sheet based on need
  • Checking the staff attendance book based on need
  • Follow up with personal leave records and updating.
  • Travel to the field as per required.
  • Any other task assigned by CRO HR Officer

Note: The priority will be given to the local community

Job Requirements

Languages Required:

  • Fluent in English
  • Fluent in Dari
  • Pashto is an asset

 

Qualifications Required:

  • 12th Grade and Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) will be an asset
  • Exposure to Labor Law and employment equity regulations.

 

Experience Required:

  • Fresher and having experience in HR will be an asset
  • Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
