After the emergency has passed and our disaster-relief effort has ended, we shift from emergency medical response to long-term medical support and training. HEWAD provides resources and training to help local staff provide a range of services—including healthcare, food, water and sanitation support—to their communities.

HEWAD is a non-governmental, non-political and non-profitable charity organization established in 1994 to provide Medical, Educational, Social and Humanitarian Assistance to needy people of Afghanistan. HEWAD implements primary health care for needy people of Afghanistan, and within those focuses on the provision of health care to the most vulnerable group, children and women. HEWAD provides perfect health education, information, and service to Afghans in order to improve their living condition.
Under the direct supervision of the HR Manager and in collaboration with the finance and procurement/logistics and other program team members, the role will be to Co-ordinate office equipment/supplies by ensuring that all items and equipment necessary for effective day to day activities in the office are in good working condition. Pro-actively identify potential problems affecting the running of the office, proposing solutions to Line Manager and work to put them in place. Assist to plans and develop all procurement activities within the delegation of Authority and contractual aspects of the procurements for the provision of various Goods & Services, considering local economic and other conditions. Takes ownership of all responsibilities and honors commitments; delivers outputs for which one has responsibility within the prescribed time, cost, and quality standards; operates in compliance with organizational regulations and rules; supports and provides oversight, and takes responsibility for delegated assignments; takes personal responsibility for his/her own shortcomings and those of the work unit, where applicable.
