Job Description

    • Oversee daily operations of hospital departments, ensuring effective coordination and workflow.
  • Supervise and manage hospital staff, including nurses, medical technicians, and support personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve hospital efficiency and patient care quality.
  • Monitor staff performance, provide training, and resolve personnel issues as needed.
  • Work closely with department heads to address operational challenges and improve hospital services.
  • Manage patient admission and discharge processes, ensuring smooth transitions for patients.
  • Oversee patient care standards and address any concerns or complaints to ensure a high level of patient satisfaction.
  • Assist with budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure optimal staffing and equipment availability.
  • Coordinate with external organizations, vendors, and healthcare professionals to maintain a seamless operation.
  • Prepare and maintain reports on hospital operations, including staffing, patient care, and compliance.
  • Implement and monitor infection control and safety protocols.
  • Participate in staff recruitment, retention, and development initiatives.
  • Ensure the hospital’s adherence to accreditation standards and work towards achieving continuous quality improvement.
  • Any other task assigned by the line manager
 

Job Requirements

    • MD degree
  • Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA) or Business Administration (MBA) is preferred.
  • Certification in Hospital Administration or Management is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare management or hospital administration.
  • Proven experience in supervisory or leadership roles within a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of hospital operations, patient care services, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience managing staff and handling complex administrative tasks.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Solid understanding of healthcare regulations, policies, and accreditation standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with staff, patients, and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in hospital management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Compassionate, patient-focused, and dedicated to improving healthcare quality.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations with confidence.
  • Strong decision-making and conflict resolution skills.
  • Experience working in a leadership position within a hospital or medical facility.
  • Knowledge of budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation within a healthcare setting.
  • Fluency in multiple languages is a plus.
